I am from the east of this planet - China and for me, America is a western country. California is west of America. If you really think about this, why did some of the Native Americans moved to the west. Because California had really pretty coastline. Imagine you are lying on the beach or surfing in the ocean. Wouldn't you love here? I am so in love with California, this is my second home (first home is Beijing).

My Mask
Hey guys! I made a mask in English class and I want to share it with you guys.
On the front of my mask, I taped a ball, golf course, flag of China, a fire, an ice-skating range, white rabbit candy, a girl's face. The reason I had a ball on the front of my mask is because I can play a lot of balls golf, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and ping-pong so that one ball represent all the balls I can play. And then I drew a golf course on it because I really like golf and I can play it pretty well. It's part of my life. Next I drew a Chinese flag because I am Chinses and I love my country. I had a fire on my mask is because all my friends think I am a really hot trait girl, what I mean by that is looks like I am a really helpful person and I always smile. The reason why I had an ice-skating range is because I used to ice-skating when I was little, but right now I am a beginner. After that I drew a white rabbit candy on it is because it is my favorite Chinese candy, I cannot live without it. The girl's face represents my cousin, she's the nicest cousin ever, I love her so much.
On the back of my mask, I had an ice square, ping pong table, ping pong ball, a no TV sign, and taekwondo clothes. The meaning of the ice square is people who know me always think I am a hot person, but in the bottom of my heart, I am really cold. Nobody knows I played ping pong before and that's why I taped it on the back side of the mask. The no TV sign represents I am not a big fan of TV. The last thing I taped on the back side of my mask is the taekwondo clothes. When I was really little, I started doing taekwondo, it was life. I was really good at it, but when I was ten I started playing golf and I don't have any time to do taekwondo, so I give up on it, but I still love taekwondo.
This is about my mask, and things my friends might know about me and things they didn't know about me.

Remember Me!
Hey guys, today I am talking how I want people to remember me when I'm gone.
- I want to be remembered as a happy and sunny person.
- I want whenever people talk about me, I am a helpful person.
- I want to be memorized as a good friend.
- When my grandchildren talk about me, I am a nice and funny grandma, who always give them candies.
- I hope all my good friends remember me.
- I hope I can still remember my childhood.
We should all start to take care of what you've gotten or had right now and be happy every day, try to smile more! Who knows after 70 years, how many people will remember you.

Paragraphs of The Party
The Party
In “The Party” by Herman Wouk, the main character Herbie is trying to win the heart of Lucille, the girl he has a crush on. He prides himself on how good his hair looks, but he is trying to make his hair go in a different direction than it would naturally and spends a lot of time forcing it by using wax and water, so he will attract her attention. Herbie and his family go to a party at Lucille’s house and at the beginning Lucille pays special attention to him by taking him to somewhere quiet. Herbie feels special and he thinks Lucille likes him, but suddenly Lucille is laughing at him because his hair is sticking out all over. By the time he comes back from fixing his hair in the bathroom, she is off dancing with someone else, so Herbie feels very upset.
Herbie’s very attracted to Lucille and so he does what many teenagers do which is dream about being together with her and he dreams they are king and queen sitting on thrones. He spends a lot of time thinking about what they will be like when they are together. He is very excited to go to the party he spends more time than usual in the bathroom trying to make his hair look right so he looks perfect when he sees her at the party. When she laughs at him because of his funny hair he becomes very depressed, especially when he can’t talk to her again. He leaves the party very quiet and wants to be by himself. I would feel very upset just like Herbie and do the same thing if something like this happened to me.

Changing the World My Way
Hey guys, does it bother you to see trash along the roads, at your school, or on the street while you are shopping?
I have an idea for how we can start a no trash revolution. If you really look around you will see litter almost everywhere. People carelessly throw their unwanted or unneeded paper where ever they are. If we really want to clean up our world we have to be models by not ever littering but also showing everyone how easy it is to clean up our environment. We can change the world by picking up litter we see as we go through each day. When others see us doing this they will start doing it too. We could provide biodegradable bags and place them in high traffic areas in our city with signs saying "Take a bag and bag some trash". There should also be big garbage cans placed around the city to put these bags in when they are full. Each weekend we could send teams out along the city streets to model for everybody how easy it is to pick up trash. Businesses could give out T-shirts without "Take a bag and bag some trash" on it, whenever someone brings a full bag of trash that they picked up on the streets to put in a trash receptacle that the business supplies.
